The project continues successfully LIFE De.Bay,
The aim of the LIFE De-BAY project is to reduce the environmental impact of ELVs by developing more efficient recovery systems and techniques for small and medium-sized car dismantlers. This technology is applied within fully equipped and integrated “recovery islands” that allow for the recovery of large quantities of materials and components from vehicles (e.g., plastic, glass, and filters) and up to 99% of all ELV fluids, much more quickly and efficiently than is possible using current systems and tools.
